Please read these Terms of Service (the "Terms") carefully before using the JsonBox service (the "Service"). JsonBox ("we") provides the Service to you. By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

If you do not agree to any part of these Terms, please do not use the Service.

2. Service Description

JsonBox is an online image color picker tool that lets you upload or paste an image URL, extract colors from the image, and copy HEX, RGB, HSL, and other color codes.

Local image processing: The Service's core color-picking functionality runs in your browser. Image files are not uploaded to our servers. You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to use any image you provide.

3. Accounts (If Applicable)

We do not currently offer account registration. If we introduce accounts in the future, the following applies:

  • You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service.
  • Provide accurate and complete information when registering.
  • Keep your account credentials secure, and you are responsible for all activity under your account.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any unlawful, harmful, or abusive purpose
  • Use content that infringes intellectual property or privacy rights for color picking
  • Attempt to reverse engineer, scrape, or interfere with the Service
  • Use automated systems to place unreasonable load on the Service

5. Intellectual Property

  • The Service itself (software, design, and branding) is owned by JsonBox and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not use our trademarks without permission.
  • The images you use belong to their respective owners. You are responsible for ensuring you have the legal right to use them.

6. Third-Party Services

The Service may integrate third-party services (e.g., hosting, analytics, authentication). Your use of those services may be subject to their own terms and policies.

7. Service Availability

We strive to keep the Service available, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted operation. Maintenance, updates, and outages may occur.

8. Termination

If you violate these Terms or applicable law, we may restrict your access to the Service. You may stop using the Service at any time.

9. Disclaimer

The Service is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including the accuracy of color extraction results, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, JsonBox will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits, or goodwill.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which JsonBox is established, without regard to conflict of law principles.

12. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the updated Terms and revise the "Last updated" date.
